 About Rentalcalendars
Rentalcalendars.com Ltd was incorporated
in March 2002. The brainchild of an owner of several holiday homes, the site was
launched as a pilot in the new year of 2003 after much development work. The work
continues and the system has evolved enormously since the early days with several
transformations thanks to the help of the pioneers that adopted us.
The concept from the outset was to provide holiday
home property managers with a complete template in which to operate their rental
business. Members are able to create what we call Rentalcalendars powered websites
- property websites hosted by Rentalcalendars with their own booking calendars. Members
can now operate their business 24 hours a day. Rentalcalendars powered websites enable
taking bookings, fielding enquiries, chasing and processing credit card payments
to be all automated.
rentalcalendars.com, our sister site was launched on
Valentines Day 2003. rentalcalendars provides us with a vehicle in which to market
our clients properties and since its launch we have seen numbers of members grow
quickly - at the time of writing (July 2003) we have over 450 members actively using
their Rentalcalendars powered websites to attract and manage bookings for their holiday
rental properties. Our staff has grown too and we are always on the look out fresh
talent to join our team.
Both rentalcalendars.com and Rentalcalendars.com were
acquired by the Daily Mail & General Trust in August 2006 as part of their online
travel strategy and is administered by the group's travel subsidiary Teletext Holidays.
